VietinBank wins 2 prestigious Awards from The Asian Banker
On 24th May 2018, VietinBank was honored with two prestigious awards namely "The Best Core Banking Initiative, Application or Programme" and “The Best Trade Finance Bank in Vietnam in 2018" presented by The Asian Banker at the Awards Ceremony in conjunction with The Asian Banker Future of Finance Summit 2018 held in Beijing, China.

The Summit attracts around 1,000 elite bankers and financial service practitioners from over 30 countries across the world. As representatives of VietinBank, Mr. Tran Cong Quynh Lan, Deputy General Director cum Director of Information Technology Center and Mrs. Tran Thi Minh Duc, Deputy General Director cum Director of Operation Division attended the event.
In his speech at the Ceremony, Mr. Emmanuel Daniel, Chairman of The Asian Banker emphasized: "You are the winners not because you are the biggest institutions or banks but because you have invested resources and shown outstanding innovation capabilities in this changing world".
The "The Best Core Banking Initiative, Application or Programme" Award is the recognition in Asia of VietinBank’s technology breakthrough with its Fidelity partner (USA). The implementation of the Corebanking Replacement Project is a brave decision and huge resource investment, bringing substantial benefits for customers in terms of service quality and efficiency. This award highlights the pioneering role of VietinBank in banking technology innovation in Vietnam and the region.

With regards to international payment and trade finance, this is the second consecutive year VietinBank has been honored by The Asian Banker as The Best Trade Finance Bank in Vietnam, proving the companion with VietinBank to be the right choice by the customers.
