Announcement: Adjustment of refunding policy for VietinBank Mastercard Platinum Cashback International Credit Card
1. The cashback offer remains unchanged, specifically:
Whether you spend less than or from VND5,000,000 per month, VietinBank Mastercard Platinum Cashback always brings a very attractive unlimited cashback program:
- Spend from VND5,000,000 or more:
+ Get 6% cashback on the first VND500,000 of accumulated spending.
+ Get 1% cashback when spending from VND500,000 to VND8,000,000/month.
+ Get 0.3% cashback when spending from VND8,000,000 or more.
- Spend less than VND5,000,000 in a month: 0.2% cashback.
2. Adjustment of the amount refunded to the account when reaching the minimum cashback amount
From April 5, 2024, customers will be refunded to their accounts when the accumulated cashback amount reaches VND500,000. If the accumulated cashback amount is less than VND500,000, it will be aggregated for consideration in the next period. However, by the end of the calendar year, after December 31 of each year, if the accumulated cashback amount is still less than VND500,000, the accumulated cashback value will automatically reset to 0.
Each accumulation period is calculated from the first day to the last day of the month. For example:
- Period 1: Customer spends and gets cashback of VND300,000 in the period, but the customer has not received the money because the cashback amount is less than VND500,000.
- Period 2: Customer spends and gets cashback of VND215,000 in the next period. The total accumulated cashback amount after 2 periods is VND515,000. Customer will receive VND515,000 into the VietinBank Mastercard Platinum Cashback International Credit card account.
