AIRS product is a single-currency interest rate swap transaction in which VietinBank and the customer have an agreement on the amount of interest to be paid or received calculated according to interest rates with conditions based on exchange rate fluctuations. Exchange rates and market interest rates at each time are agreed upon by both parties and are accumulated according to the above agreed payment period along with the value of the nominal capital.
