Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of MUFG visiting VietinBank
On 3 July 2017 in Hanoi, Mr. Muneaki Tokunari – CFO Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. (BTMU) and CFO of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) and his colleague paid a visit and had a working session with VietinBank Management Team.

From VietinBank side, Mr. Lê Đức Thọ - Board Member cum CEO, Mr. Hiroshi Yamaguchi - Board Member cum Deputy General Director; Mr. Trần Minh Bình - Deputy General Director; Ms. Lê Như Hoa - Deputy General Director and other representatives from relevant departments of VietinBank Head office had welcomed the delegates from BTMU.
On the occasion of this visit to VietinBank, Mr. Muneaki Tokunari appreciated the collaboration results between the two Banks and spent time to discuss about MUFG Overview and the Group’s IR activities VietinBank
At the working session, Mr. Lê Đức Thọ expressed his delight to welcome BTMU and MUFG’s delegation, which was led by Mr. Tokunari Muneaki. CEO Thọ had informed Mr. Tokunari about the success of the 9th Steering Committee of VietinBank - BTMU Strategic Partnership with the participation of Mr. Takayoshi Futae - CEO of BTMU (Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ) Asian and Oceania. On this occasion, CEO Lê Đức Thọ thanked MUFG senior leaders for their great support to VietinBank - BTMU strategic partnership.

Also in this working session, Mr. Tokunari briefly introduced about MUFG’s development milestones and shared his experience in Investor Relation (IR) activities with VietinBank colleagues.
Within the scope of his visit to VietinBank, Mr. Tokunari Muneaki also dropped by VietinBank Ba Dinh - one typical VietinBank branch to listen to its practical operation and achievements recently. MUFG delegation was impressed with the Branch Management and employees’ determination and passion, and believed in the success of VietinBank-BTMU partnership in the coming time.
The visit and working session between senior managers of both banks was successful and showcased the unity between VietinBank and its strategic partner BTMU as well as the attention and trust that MUFG had for the sustainable relationship between BTMU and VietinBank.
