A. REMITTANCE FROM OVERSEAS TO VIETNAM
- What should I have to do to remit money to Vietnam?
- Please come to the nearest bank where you are living and working (you should choose one of the largest and prestigious banks) providing the necessary information with the direction of the bank staff, fill in the Money Transfer form and submit the remitted amount, pay the remittance fee.
- In case you do not understand clearly about procedures of the bank, please fill in the Remittance Card (enclosed in the annex of Remittance from abroad to Vietnam through Incombank) and then ask the bank staff for helping.
- If you need to send money ugently, you can use express services: WesternUnion, Xpress Money, IME. After 15 minutes only, your relative can receive money at any Vietinbank’s transation agent over the country.
- Which foreign currency I can remit?
- You can remit to Vietnam by USD, EUR, AUD, GBP, SGD, JPY, DKK, SEK, NOK, CHF, CAD.
- What should I do to avoid mistake, confusions?
- To avoid mistake or confusions please fill in all the information in the Money Transfer Form clearly, especially the information about: First name, Middle name and Last name, ID number, address and the account of the beneficiary (if any)
- All the information should be capitalized by Vietnamese without accent.
- Please attention to dictation and the letters or the numbers that can be confused as the same each other such as: letter A, letter H and number 4; letter B and number 13; letter C and letter O; letter G and number 6, etc. If you fill in by mistake you should not cross out, please fill in new form.
- Please provide at least information to identify the beneficiary. If the beneficiary has opened account with the bank you should only fill the account number. However, if the beneficiary has not opened account ID number or other related documents with photo (as the same as passport, military identification) are required.
- Please provide the bank with telephone number (include country code) or current address of the beneficiary.
- Finally, please keep the receipt of Application form or Receipt of Money to present to the bank in the necessary cases.
- Does the beneficiary need to have account at Incombank to receive money?
- The beneficiary does not need to have account at Incombank. In case the beneficiary have not opened account with Incombank, please provide name, contact address, ID number of the beneficiary, telephone number (if any) and ask for remittance through Incombank.
- How long does it take the beneficiary receive money?
- The beneficiary can receive money in the day you remit.
- However, the beneficiary can receive money fast and easily if you provide telephone number of the beneficiary for Incombank, thus the bank staff will contact to the beneficiary as you remit money.
- How much maximum money can I remit to Vietnam?
- The maximum money that you can remit depends on the regulations and laws to banking service of the country, states or regions, banks or remittance companies.
- There is no limitation on money that the beneficiary can receive at Incombank.
- 7. Will beneficiary have to pay tax when he/she receives money at Vietinbank?
- How can I know the situation of the remitted money?
- To know the situation of the remitted money in the detail, please email or phone our bank. The details of information see at Contact Address. Or you can contact to the transfer bank directly to ask them check again the situation of the remitted amount, if there have some mistakes please ask them correct immediately. It will be faster if you present the Receipt of Money.
B. RECEIVE MONEY IN VIETNAM
- What should I do to receive money from foreign bank to Incombank?
- As you receive inform of the bank or information from the remitter you should come to the Incombank’s branch as follow the direction of the inform letter or the direction of the remitter. Please fill in the Receive Money Form with fully necessary information and present ID or other related identification documents.
- The Receiver is the beneficiary that indicated in transfer message. To receive money on behalf of beneficiary, receiver must has delegated document that confirmed by authority.
- How much the remittance fee when the beneficiary receives money in Incombank?
- 0,05% per amount, min USD 2
- Fee of receiving cash:
- VND: wave
- Foreign currency: 0,15% min USD 2
- If sender send money thru: Wells Fargo ExpressSend, Western Union, Xpress Money, IME; then receiver have not pay any fee.
- What foreign currency can I receive?
- You can receive money by USD, EUR or VND according to your requirement.
- If I want to receive by VND what is exchange rate be applied?
- If you would like to receive money by VND the exchange rate will be applied as follow daily Incombank buying rate.
