VietinBank German Branch met German “Mittelstand”

For the 2nd consecutive year, VietinBank German Branch sponsored the award ceremony “Hidden Champions”, which took place on November 15th, 2017 in Frankfurt, hosted by the German news channel N-TV in association with Maleki Communications Group.

The event is highly recognized within Germany’s financial community and is aiming at honoring small and medium-sized companies, which are very successful in their respective sectors, but generally not very well known to a broad public. Four winners were selected in the categories “Brand”, “Responsibility”, “Change” and “Vision” and a special price was awarded.

As one of the laudators, Mr. Erdmann Vogt, General Manager of VietinBank German Branch had a speech introducing VietinBank in general and the activity of German branch in particular. He also emphasized the role of a strong brand as a key differentiating success factor in competitive markets.

The event was a perfect opportunity for German Branch’s customer relationship management team to meet and exchange views with over 200 representatives of small and medium-sized companies active in many different sectors and regions. These interesting contacts will certainly contribute to broaden the existing customer base.

The year 2017 marked a positive step in the history of VietinBank German Branch - established in 2011 with the mission to promote trade and investment related business links between Germany and Vietnam and to service the Vietnamese community in Germany.

Building on the strength of VietinBank and its unique selling proposition as sole Vietnamese bank in Germany the branch is continuously increasing market awareness and position in its specific niche.
