Global Finance named VietinBank as Best Trade Finance Provider in Vietnam
January 17th 2018, in London, VietinBank was honored by Global Finance Magazine (USA) as "Best Trade Finance Provider in Vietnam for 2018". VietinBank is the only Vietnamese bank honored.

VietinBank was represented by Ms. Trần Thị Minh Đức – Director of Operation Division, Deputy General Director equivalent and Ms. Lê Minh Hương – Director of Trade Finance Center of VietinBank to receive this award.
The award ceremony was held in the within the Global Annual Meeting 2018 organized by the Bankers Association for Finance and Trade (BAFT) in London this January. This meeting was attended by more than 100 major banks, financial service providers from more than 94 countries around the world.
End of 2017, VietinBank's international settlement and trade finance activities have achieved remarkable results. Payment volume increased by more than 18%, fee revenue increased by 22.3% year-on-year. The balance of foreign currency deposit via trade finance channel amounted to USD 1.1 billion. In particular, VietinBank also launched many innovative new products and new technology to fulfill customer demand the best.
With outstanding achievements in revenue, quality and customer satisfaction in International Settlement and Trade Finance, VietinBank was honored as “Best Trade Finance Provider in Vietnam for 2018” by Global Finance.
In 2017, VietinBank also received 02 other major awards, including: “Best Working Capital Trade Finance Bank” of The Asset Triple A – the leading magazine in Asia; “Best Trade Finance Provider in Vietnam” of The Asian Banker – a reputable magazine in Banking and Finance in Asia Pacific and Middle East. In addition, VietinBank has the honor to receive other 16 awards from many reputable magazines and banks in the world in the Trade Finance and International Settlement category.
